Introducing the first volume of Film Grids! Along with cornered edges, these grids are specifically designed to emulate 8mm, 16mm, and 35mm film mattes. My goal for this pack is to add the filmic matte look on top to your footage and is especially designed for filmmakers.
Over the years, I’ve always admired whenever an editor creatively or strategically places footage in different areas on a screen. After searching through the internet, I found a few resources that were similar to this pack but didn’t quite have the grids I was craving to use.
A lot of grids/overlays/mattes out there don’t have the stacked look that I’ve been looking for, so I created a set of 30 that I’ve been continuously using on most of my music video/promotional projects.

Easy to use! All the PNG files are pre keyed, so all you have to do is drag your preferred grid on top of your footage, and crop accordingly. These film inspired compositions can be used for photos and videos.
