What's the difference between shooting in 24fps vs 60fps?

🎥💡✌🏽👨🏻Not too long ago, I got my Blackmagic Pocket 6K camera and I’ve been able to shoot 50fps on a lot projects. When I used to have my Sony A7Sii, I could shoot slow mo only in 1080p and that’s just didn’t cut if for me. I definitely over used my slow mo mode on the camera because I just love how it all turned out. So should be shooting/filming in 24FPS or 60FPS? When's it appropriate to shoot slow mo?
